To publish one video on several networks, open the composer, choose the video, tick the channels it should go to, adjust the text for each network and set one publish time. Uplonic then schedules a separate post per channel and fits the final text to each network's limits. TikTok is the exception: it asks for a visibility choice and a consent statement on every post.
The article on one video for Shorts, TikTok and Reels explains why a video should be adapted per network. This guide is the dashboard procedure for doing it.
Before you begin
You need an app with at least one connected channel and a video that is ready to publish. If you have not connected a channel yet, start with the YouTube connection guide. Owners, Managers and Staff can schedule. One exception applies: if the app has "Staff content needs approval" turned on, a Staff member sees "Send for approval" instead of "Schedule", and an Owner or Manager sends the item out.
Choose a video that fits every network you tick: a short, vertical video suits most of them. A video that is waiting for approval, or was rejected, cannot be scheduled directly, so pick one that is not under review.
Check scope: The steps follow the dashboard and API code as of 2026-10-24. We did not publish to a live network for this guide, so the guide stops at a scheduled item and does not claim the post was accepted.
Choose the content and the video
From the home page, open "Add" and choose "New post". The "Create content" window opens. Set the content type to "Video". Select a video from the media library or upload a new one. An uploaded video is also added to the library, so you can reuse it later. Wait until the preview loads.
Pick the channels
In the channel picker, tick every channel that should receive the video. If a network has more than one connected account, you pick the specific account. If you identify only the network name, for example from an external automation, the network's default channel receives the content.
Set the text per network
By default you write one text and it goes everywhere. You can also set it per network, because the networks want different things: YouTube needs a title, while Instagram prefers a shorter text with hashtags. Uplonic fits the final text to each network's limits, which are the length and the number of hashtags. Visibility is also set here. The limits themselves are listed in the character limits article and the hashtag limits article.
Set the time and schedule
The time is read in your browser's time zone and must be in the future. A post starts within a window of a few minutes after that time, not on the exact second. Click "Schedule" to save. A confirmation appears when the video is scheduled.
Follow it in the calendar
Open "Uploads" to see the calendar in Month, Week and List views. The new item appears on the chosen day with the icons of its networks, and a scheduled item can be dragged to another day. Click the tile to open it. The details show whether it is scheduled, processing or done, and when it gets stuck, they say why. If an item fails, the failed posts guide covers the recovery.
What is different on TikTok
TikTok has no default visibility. For every post you choose the visibility and confirm a consent statement, and Uplonic does not fill that in for you. That is why this guide does not include TikTok in the example; add it when you are ready to make that choice for the post.
Symptom | Check | Action |
|---|---|---|
The button says "Send for approval" | You are Staff in an app that requires approval. | Send it for approval; an Owner or Manager schedules or sends it on. |
The video cannot be scheduled directly | It is waiting for approval or was rejected. | Complete the review, or choose another video. |
The time is refused | The time may be in the past. | Choose a future time in your browser's time zone. |
The text looks shorter than you wrote | The network's length or hashtag limit applies. | Set the text for that network by hand and keep it within its limit. |
