Higgsfield AI exports vertical 9:16 MP4 clips that fit TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels directly — provided you export at 1080p rather than 2K/4K (which exceeds Instagram Reels' 1920-pixel width limit), keep combined sequences between 3 and 90 seconds, and turn on the AI disclosure label whenever your clip features realistic human characters or camera-tracked scenes.
How Higgsfield AI exports compare with short-form social API limits
Higgsfield AI combines virtual Director of Photography (DOP) camera motion controls, character motion transfer, foundational models (such as WAN series integrations), an AI Video Reframer, and multi-scene workflows. For the full cross-generator workflow, see our complete guide to publishing AI-generated videos to social media. When you download an MP4 from Higgsfield and send it through a social scheduler's API, here is how its specs line up against each network's official developer rules:
Parameter | Higgsfield AI output (official docs) | TikTok, Reels & Shorts API requirement |
|---|---|---|
Container | MP4 | Accepted by TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn |
Aspect ratio | 9:16, 16:9, 1:1 (plus AI Video Reframer for 16:9 → 9:16) | 9:16 recommended everywhere; YouTube Shorts requires vertical or square (aspect ≤ 1:1) |
Resolution | Up to 1080p, with 2K and 4K AI upscaling options | 1080×1920 fits all networks; Instagram Reels rejects files wider than 1920 px |
Clip duration | 5–15 s foundational clips; longer multi-scene sequences | Minimum 3 s on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn; max 90 s on Facebook Reels, 3 min on Shorts, 10 min on TikTok API |
Exact frame rate & audio codec | Not stated on Higgsfield's public marketing pages (varies by underlying model) | TikTok/Instagram require 23–60 fps, Facebook Reels 24–60 fps fixed; Instagram requires AAC audio up to 48 kHz |
Because Higgsfield's public pages do not list a fixed frame rate or audio bitrate across every model variant, always verify your downloaded MP4 before scheduling. Drop the file into our free video spec checker to check resolution, aspect ratio, duration and file size against all six targets in your browser. Two export pitfalls to avoid with Higgsfield videos
1. Upscaling to 2K or 4K before posting to Instagram Reels
Higgsfield offers built-in 2K and 4K upscaling for crisp cinematic renders. While TikTok accepts up to 4096 pixels on either side and YouTube accepts 4K Shorts, Meta's Instagram Graph API enforces a maximum horizontal width of 1920 pixels for Reels. For vertical 9:16 videos, a 1080×1920 export (1080 pixels wide) passes every platform cleanly and stays well under Instagram's 300 MB file-size limit.
2. Widescreen 16:9 camera moves uploaded to YouTube Shorts
YouTube classifies a video as a Short only when its aspect ratio is square (1:1) or vertical (such as 9:16) and its duration is 3 minutes or less. If you generate a 16:9 cinematic camera orbit in Higgsfield and upload it as-is, YouTube publishes it as a standard horizontal video instead of a Short. Use Higgsfield's AI Video Reframer to adapt the scene to 9:16 before exporting, or scale and pad to 1080×1920 with ffmpeg.
Tip: Dynamic camera moves (zooms, orbits and whip-pans) often place your subject near the edges of the 9:16 frame. Keep faces and on-screen text out of the bottom 35% and right-hand icon column so TikTok, Reels and Shorts UI overlays do not cover them.
Do Higgsfield AI videos need an AI disclosure label?
Higgsfield is widely used for photorealistic character motion, virtual product shoots and lifelike street or studio scenes. Under the rules summarized in AI content labels explained, realistic human motion and photorealistic synthetic scenes trigger mandatory disclosure across every major platform:
TikTok: Requires the AI-generated content label whenever AI shows realistic-looking people or scenes, or mimics a real person's voice.
Instagram and Facebook Reels: Meta requires disclosure for photorealistic digitally created or altered video and realistic-sounding AI audio.
YouTube Shorts: Requires the "Altered content" disclosure when a video depicts a realistic person saying or doing something they did not do, or generates a realistic scene that never occurred.
EU AI Act (Article 50): From August 2, 2026, professional creators, brands and agencies publishing realistic deepfakes must disclose that the content is artificially generated.
If your Higgsfield generation uses a clearly stylized anime, comic or fantasy look with non-realistic audio, no platform requires an AI label. You can verify any specific combination of visuals and audio in our AI disclosure checker.
How to import and schedule Higgsfield videos in Uplonic
Once your 9:16 MP4 is ready, you can publish it across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, LinkedIn, Threads and Pinterest from Uplonic in two ways:
Option A: Upload to the Uplonic calendar
Drag the exported MP4 into the Uplonic composer, pick your target channels, and enable the AI-generated content toggle. Uplonic sends the native AI disclosure flag to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook Reels automatically, checks the TikTok creator account's current max_video_post_duration_sec limit before posting, and shapes each platform's caption while preserving your trailing hashtags. (For YouTube Shorts, set the "Altered content" setting in YouTube Studio after upload, as Uplonic does not send YouTube's containsSyntheticMedia API field yet.)
Option B: Automated import from Google Drive, Dropbox or HTTPS via n8n
If your team saves finished Higgsfield renders into a shared Google Drive folder or cloud bucket, an n8n HTTP Request node can pass the share link directly to Uplonic's POST /videos/import endpoint:
curl -X POST https://api.uplonic.com/videos/import \
-H "x-api-key: WORKSPACE_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"requireReview": true,
"items": [
{
"url": "https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aBcDeFgHiJkLmNoPqRsTuVwXyZ/view",
"title": "Higgsfield DOP Orbit — Sneaker Drop",
"tags": ["higgsfield", "sneakers", "reels"],
"idempotencyKey": "hf-sneaker-drop-01"
}
]
}'
Uplonic converts the Google Drive view URL into a direct download link with large-file confirmation (confirm=t), downloads files up to 500 MB in the background, validates the video stream with magic bytes and ffprobe, and places the clip into your workspace review queue or media library.

How we verified this: Higgsfield AI features and export formats were checked against Higgsfield's official product pages in October 2026. Social platform API specifications and AI disclosure rules come from each network's official developer docs and help centers (verified October 2026), and Uplonic import behavior comes from Uplonic's own import implementation.
