Terms of Service

Effective date: 26 May 2026

1. Scope of service

The Provider offers Uplonic (available at https://uplonic.com, hereinafter “Uplonic” or the “Service”), a cloud-based software (SaaS) that enables the User to manage their social media presence from a single interface. Specific features of Uplonic include:

  • Creating multiple Apps, each with its own API key, for separating content and platforms.
  • Registration and sign-in with email/password or a Google account, with email verification and password reset.
  • OAuth-based connection to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn and Pinterest accounts.
  • Uploading videos, managing metadata and thumbnails, S3-based media library.
  • AI-based video generation from text prompts using templates stored in S3.
  • Cron-based schedules that publish random or specific videos to selected platforms.
  • Real-time tracking of generation and upload jobs (SSE-based notifications).
  • Subscription plans and a storage add-on managed through the Stripe payment provider.
  • Customer support contact via the built-in form.

2. User responsibility for uploaded and generated content

  • The User assumes sole responsibility for all content uploaded to the system, generated by AI, scheduled or published (images, videos, text, prompts).
  • The User warrants that the content does not infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, rights of likeness or other personal rights, and does not violate applicable law (e.g. hate speech, illegal or pornographic content).
  • For AI-generated content, the User is responsible for labelling the content in accordance with the relevant social platform’s policy (e.g. “AI generated” / “Made with AI” label where required by the platform).
  • The Provider is entitled to remove content that violates applicable law or these Terms without prior notice, to stop schedules and to suspend the User’s account.

3. API keys and access management

  • The API key associated with an App is confidential. The User must store it securely and must not share it with third parties.
  • In the event of key compromise, the User must immediately generate a new key; the User is liable for actions carried out with the old key.
  • The Provider is entitled to restrict excessive or abusive API usage (rate limiting) and, in cases of serious abuse, to revoke the key.

4. Third parties (social media platforms)

The Service is built on third-party APIs (Google/YouTube, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest). The Provider accepts no liability if a third party:

  • modifies or discontinues API access;
  • refuses to publish the User’s content under its own policies;
  • restricts or disables the User’s social media account;
  • revokes OAuth token validity, causing scheduled tasks to fail.

The User must also comply with the terms of use of the connected platforms (YouTube ToS, Meta Platform Terms, TikTok Developer Terms, etc.).

5. Availability and data storage

The Provider aims for 99% monthly system availability but does not guarantee that the software is error-free. In the event of maintenance, external API outages or unexpected errors, the Service may be temporarily unavailable and scheduled tasks may fail. The Provider recommends that Users maintain their own backup of uploaded media files, as the Provider excludes liability for data loss.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider excludes liability for any direct or indirect loss, lost profit or data loss arising from the use of the Service, software downtime, failed or delayed publication, OAuth token invalidation, or malfunction of external APIs.

7. Subscriptions, fees and termination

Subscriptions, plan changes, the storage add-on and billing are handled through the Stripe payment provider (Stripe Checkout for purchases, Stripe Customer Portal for managing and cancelling an existing subscription). In the Customer Portal the User can view invoices and change or cancel their subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Card data is handled exclusively by Stripe.

8. Amendments to these Terms

The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms unilaterally. Users will be notified of changes by email or via the dashboard interface at least 15 days before they take effect.
