To manage comments in one place, open the Comments page in your Uplonic workspace, start with the "Unanswered" filter, reply from the reply box and use a saved quick reply to insert common text. A quick reply only inserts text into the box, so you always add the name or the specific answer before you send. When a thread needs nothing more, mark it resolved.
Before you begin
Reading comments is open to the Owner, Manager and Staff roles on every plan. Writing replies, and managing quick replies, is available to the same three roles from the Pro plan upward. On top of that, replying needs a permission per channel: Uplonic calls it "Enable comment replies", because publishing a post does not need the right to write comments. On YouTube that permission comes with a new Google authorization. Not every network supports replying.
Check scope: The behavior below follows the dashboard and API code as of 2026-10-24. No reply was sent to a live network for this guide.
Find what needs an answer
Open "Comments" in the sidebar. You can choose between two layouts: "List", and "By post", with the posts on the left and their comments on the right. The filters are "All", "Unanswered", "Replied" and "Resolved". Start with "Unanswered". The dashboard home page shows the same count in its To-do block for the last seven days, but only for channels that can read comments.
Reply to a comment
Click "Reply" under a comment to open the reply box. If replies are not enabled on that channel yet, the box offers "Enable comment replies" instead. Write the answer and send it. A sent reply is a real request to the network, so check it before you click.
Reuse text with quick replies
In the reply box, open the "Quick reply" picker and choose a saved text. It goes into the box and is not sent. That is deliberate: the text is a starting point, and you add the person's name or the specific answer. In an empty box it fills the box; if the box already has text, the quick reply is added after it, separated by a blank line. Edit it freely before sending.
To create or change quick replies, use the "Quick replies" button next to the layout toggle. Add a new one, give it a name and write the text. The set belongs to the app, not to you: every moderator in the workspace uses the same texts, which keeps the brand's tone consistent. Saved texts keep the order you created them in.
Close the loop
When a thread needs nothing else, click "Mark resolved". You can reopen it with one click. That keeps the list honest: what remains under "Unanswered" or open is what still needs you. "Open" takes you to the original post on the network if you want to see the whole conversation there.
Comments come from the networks, and new ones are pulled when you use "Refresh". It is not real time, so check again before you assume a thread is quiet.
Symptom | Check | Action |
|---|---|---|
The reply box is locked | Your plan may not include comment replies. | Move the app to a plan that includes replies. |
The box says "Enable comment replies" | The channel has no permission to write comments yet. | Enable it for that channel; on YouTube, complete the new Google authorization. |
The quick reply did not send | Quick replies only insert text. | Edit the text and use the send button. |
Refresh fails | The channel's access may have expired. | Reconnect the channel, then refresh again. |
If you are also adding a link under your own posts, the first comment guide shows how to schedule it, and the comment inbox overview describes the page in product terms.
