Platform

Use your last 10 videos and leave out one-off viral hits, brands pay for what they can expect.

Suggested rate(estimate)

$400 – $1,200

Starting point: $800

Based on $20–$60 per 1,000 average views (ThoughtLeaders, 2026); the starting point uses $40.

01

On YouTube, price by views, not subscribers

Brands buying a YouTube integration pay for the views they can expect. ThoughtLeaders, a YouTube sponsorship agency, puts the market at $0.01–$0.10 per view, typically $0.02–$0.06, and calls $0.03–$0.05 a good rate. That's $20–$60 per 1,000 average views, the calculator's range, and it barely depends on channel size.

Use the average of your last ten videos and leave out the one that went viral. A brand that pays for a viral number and gets your usual one won't book you again.

02

On Instagram and TikTok, the follower tier is the market

For Instagram and TikTok there's no widely published per-view rate, so the calculator uses Meltwater's 2026 ranges by follower tier: nano (500–10K), micro and mid (10K–100K), macro (100K–500K) and mega (500K+). The ranges are wide, and other sources publish different ones, treat the result as a starting point, not a quote.

Engagement matters more than follower count: if your comments and saves are well above your niche's average, price toward the top of your range and show the numbers in your media kit.

03

Usage rights and exclusivity are extras

If the brand wants to reuse your content in its own posts or ads, that's usage rights, usually 20–50% on top of the base rate. Agreeing not to work with competitors is exclusivity, 20–100% more, depending on how long and how broad (impact.com, 2025). Put both in writing with an end date.

04

Disclose every paid post

In the US, the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255, revised in 2023) require a clear and conspicuous disclosure, and the FTC notes that a platform's built-in label might not be enough on its own. In Hungary, the competition authority (GVH) expects a text label in Hungarian, such as „Reklám” or „Szponzorált tartalom”.
