Data deletion

When you connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account or a Threads profile to Uplonic, we receive and store: the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf, the account's name and profile picture, performance statistics of your posts, and the comments other people leave under them (the commenter's name, profile picture and comment text). You can have all of this deleted in any of the three ways below.

1. Disconnect the channel in Uplonic

Sign in, open Platforms, select the channel and choose Disconnect. The channel is deleted immediately, together with its access tokens, stored comments, statistics and publishing history.

2. Remove Uplonic in your Meta settings

  • Facebook and Instagram: on Facebook go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, remove Uplonic, then open Removed, select Uplonic and click Send request to ask for your data to be deleted.
  • Threads: in the Threads app go to Settings → Account → Website permissions, remove Uplonic and request deletion of your data.

Meta then notifies us automatically. We delete every channel connected with that account, and Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link to this page, where you can check the status of your request.

Removing Uplonic without requesting deletion only revokes our access: the channel stops publishing and is marked as needing reconnection, but its data is not deleted.

3. Email us

Write to info@uplonic.com from the email address of your Uplonic account (or, if you are a commenter, with a link to your comment). We complete the request within 30 days.
